Dell Diamond
The Dell Diamond is the location of the Round Rock Express’ home games. The Round Rock Express are the Texas Rangers’ Triple-A Minor League Baseball club. The Dell Diamond is a venue that offers a wide variety of luxuries and conveniences for the comfort and pleasure of the attendees. In January of 2000, The Express and Dell Computer Corporation came to an agreement that includes naming rights for the stadium as part of their collaboration. The Texas Rangers have a Triple-A affiliate in Round Rock, and that team’s name is the Express. The layout of the stadium provides spectators with breathtaking up-close views of the action.
Fans who are seated in the front row behind home plate are physically located nearer to the plate than they are to the pitcher’s mound. The distance from the mound to home plate is 60 feet and 6 inches, while the distance from home plate to the backstop is just 55 feet. There are spectator seats along the first and third base lines that are closer than fifty feet to the lines themselves. Dell Diamond is not only the home of Round Rock Express games, but it also hosts amateur sporting events, musical performances, craft exhibits, and a variety of other events all through the year in addition to serving as the home of the Round Rock Express.
The United Heritage Center, which can be found along the first baseline, has a total event space of 10,000 square feet, of which 5,400 square feet is dedicated to conference room space. This area is equipped with a fully-functional kitchen and may be partitioned off into three separate suites of comparable size. A restaurant-like atmosphere can be found in the Intel Club, which can be found on the suite level of the Dell Diamond. This club offers expansive views of the stadium. The pool and spa party area is located beyond the right field, and it features a pool that is 20 feet by 50 feet as well as a hot tub that is 10 feet by 10 feet. A covered picnic area and a playscape are located right next to the pool and spa party area, and both of these spaces are available for hire by parties.
A “Sport Court” basketball court, a simulated rock wall that is 26 feet high, a simulated pitching area, and a bungee trampoline are some of the attractions that can be found in the Fun Zone, which is situated in center field. These activities may keep children busy for a number of hours.
