What’s New at the Play for All Abilities Park?

A lot has happened at the Play for All Abilities Park in Round Rock! The park has more than doubled in size, and features 3 addition themed play areas and the 4 current play areas have been expanded.

The park first opened in 2012 with a community celebration.

After 5 years of planning and creating the park, the Central Texas Children of all abilities truly had a one-of-a-kind park where children could play side by side without any restrictions.

The original park was made possible from help across the Round Rock community. The city built this 1.3 million dollar park for only $600,000 with the help of grants, donations, sponsorships from local businesses and Play for All Foundation, a non-profit.

People from across the nation and all over Texas come to visit this park. Throughout the year, children are bussed in from surrounding communities to enjoy the park.

So where is the park located? The park is located at 151 North A.W. Grimes Blvd and the entrance is located under the railroad bridge.

The park experiences generous hours and is open everyday from 6 a.m. to midnight. Though do be careful at night as the playground and parking lot are not lit.
